Policy
Policy, advocacy and lobbying will have a greatly heightened and pro-active role in ISPAL. We will provide an articulate industry voice.
We will act to inform, collate, lead and champion the views of the sector with our good links to Government and key decision-makers so as to influence UK policy as it affects our area.
We will promote a more inclusive approach to policy priorities by not only responding to policy / consultation documents in our own area, but to actively seek out those from other areas that impact on or affect our sector.
We will develop ISPAL policies and then promulgate them to the industry, media and Government as appropriate.
We will keep members up to date with fact sheets, reports, policy position statements and sectoral e-newsletters.
We will build on regional and Home Nation networks to identify, through the professional community of members, issues of concern to the profession, representing those concerns to appropriate bodies and working in partnership to resolve them. We will use our expertise to be professional standard bearers.
